And the shortlist is…The Internet Retailing Awards 2014 – Full List of Nominees Revealed
London, 16th May 2014 – Argos, House of Fraser, Marks and Spencer, Tesco, ASOS and Thomson (TUI) are just a handful of the brands at the forefront of multichannel retail who have made the shortlist for the Internet Retailing Awards 2014, sponsored by Venda.
Taking place at One Mayfair on Thursday 26th June, the Internet Retailing Awards will celebrate the continued success of, and innovation within, the dynamic multichannel retail sector.
Judged by true retail leaders earlier this week, the panel includes Robin Phillips, Director of Ecommerce at Waitrose, Andy Harding, Executive Director of Multichannel at House of Fraser and David Walmsley, Director of Multichannel Development at Marks and Spencer, who offered a broad and deep insight into the sector and the skills, growth and commercial aspects of all applicants.
From the opening of digital stores on Oxford Street, to grocery shopping being delivered to tube stations, the Internet Retailing Awards 2014 will celebrate the best innovations in multichannel commerce and the continued success of the dynamic online retail sector.
Speaking ahead of the awards, Editor-In-Chief of Internet Retailing, Ian Jindal, said:
“Our Awards are a celebration of achievement and recognise those multichannel leaders who are inspiring their peers in the industry. Nominated by our readers and editors and then voted upon by our eminent Judges, these Awards are a window upon current success and where the pace-setters are themselves looking.”
“Our Judges represent the elite in multichannel and we are grateful to them for the time they’ve contributed to review and discuss the nominations, as well as the insights shared in discussing their choices. The deliberations were wide-ranging and well-considered and the resulting shortlist reflects both established, proven leadership and emerging niche and innovative talent”.
“We are excited to showcase this talent in 2014, and look forward to an evening of celebration and recognition at the must-attend Awards Party on 26 June”.
